Upgrading the Tengu

After seeing another Tengu in action, and noticing that I couldn't tank a plex I was in without help from a RR Domi, I decided to buy another Shield booster for my Tengu.
After having played around with EFT, I figured the Pithum C-type Medium Shield Booster was what I needed.
My alt picked it up from Jita at a decent price, and I brought it back to my homesystem in 0.0.
Havent had the chance to try it out in a plex yet, but the ship is capstable and pretty much the same as I had it.

Vindicator blueprint

Today I went on my usual scanning round again and found another one of the drug outlets. This again (lucky me) dropped a Nanite Control book.

But I went on and found a Serpentis Prison Camp in another system. After reading up on it ( here ), I went on in with my Tengu. I asked another guy to join me and when we got to the last stage and popped the serpentis prisoner isolation facility, I looted it and found a Vindicator Blueprint worth 750 mill!!
This must have been my lucky day!

I payed half of its worth to my companion, and went home. Not sure what I will do with it yet. Cant see myself flying this ship anytime soon so I will probably just sell the bpc,

New toon bought

This morning I bought a nice 4 mill sp toon for my second account. I wanted a mining character so I could mine some Ice for my Carrier, and get some more isk on the side. The toon cost me only 900M, which i consider a good buy. It has all the skills I need, and I can easily expand on it. The start is there, and the character can jump right into the fray. I had another character training, which I will continu when I am satisfied with the new one. Might even be selling one of em, depending on what the future brings.
As soon as the game comes back up (and the bloody ten hour delay is over) I will start training the new character. (Can't give you the name for security reasons atm).

I added somelinks to the different Serpentis complexes. You can find them under the "guides" section on the right. I will add more as I find them.

(The Serpentis Corporation was founded a few decades ago by V.Salvador Sarpati. At first it was engaged in hi-tech research, but with time its ties with the underworld grew and the Serpentis research stations, scattered around in remote areas, became infamous pirate havens. Sarpati made a deal with the Angel Cartel early on to provide protection for his stations and the duty was taken on by the Guardian Angels. Both sides have prospered enormously for this deal - Serpentis can operate in peace and the Angel Cartel gets access to the illegal research efforts of the Serpentis. It is strongly believed that Serpentis is the main developer and manufacturer of illegal neural boosters, especially since Sarpati's father was a renown specialist in that field. Time to Tengu

Recently I have started flying Tengu's as a replacement for my Golem. Although the Golem is a great ship for doing complexes and anomalies, it is a little slow at times. The Tengu being a cruiser based hull is much faster and more agile.
It's tanking capabilities are awesome, and I haven't ran into any troubles tanking a complex as of yet. The secret lies in movement. You just have to keep moving (I always circle a can or a wreck at 3000 metres). This way your small signature makes it hard for the battleships to hit you.
This combined with a good racial fit (easily up to 88-90%) and a nice shield booster you shouldn't have a hard time tanking.

Also the offensive systems are great. I fitted Heavy Missile Lauchers, and ofcourse the T2 kinitec missiles. Coupled with the right subsystems and rigs your rate of fire and damage should be enough to take out BS with ease.

New Corp, New Alliance

Today I have been accepted in a corporation called Dark Shadow Industries (D.R.K). We are based in Cloud Ring, and are part of Wildy Inappropriate Alliance.
My mate Fastdaniel is in as well, and we mainly do plexes and ratting based out of one of the station owned by the alliance.

Serpentis Drug Outlet

While waiting for the alliance to work out the placement in Pure Blind, I have started doing some 1/10 Serpentis complexes. The name of these plexes is Serpentis Drug Outlet, and they very easy to do (frigates only).

Icemining in my Mackinaw

Just recently i bought a Mackinaw. I wanted to do some icemining while we are waiting for the big move to Pure Blind. Although the ice I am mining only produces Helium Isotopes (Clear Icicle), and my carrier uses Nitrogen Isotopes, I can always sell it for a good price.
